I am happy to inform the campus community that Pat Klimkewicz will be the acting department chair for Nursing as I transition to the position of interim dean of Health Sciences effective Monday, August 3.
Pat has been a faculty member for more than 15 years and is a Commander with the Naval Reserves. She has a vision and commitment to help bring the Nursing Program to the next level.
I am sad to be leaving the position of DC for Nursing, but I still will be working with everyone in the department, just in a different capacity. I will be moving soon to the Science Center, and Pat will be taking my office. I appreciate all of the years of assistance and commitment from those of you who have helped to make our Nursing Program the best in the Capital Region!
